Welcome to the Manitoba Association of Fire Chiefs (MAFC) website.
The Manitoba Association of Fire Chiefs (MAFC) is comprised of Chief Fire Officers representing over 200 fire departments from across the Province of Manitoba. Although we are an organization of Fire Chiefs, we represent all members of the fire service in our province.
Our Association works closely with all levels of government, fire departments and various stakeholders, to ensure that the safety of all Manitobans is at the forefront. We also work with and have representation in the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs, helping to affect change at a national level. Through training initiatives, public education, and advocacy we strive to ensure our province maintains a high standard of public safety.
If you are a Chief Fire Officer in Manitoba, and not already a member of our organization, I encourage you to join. Your membership helps to make the fire service in this province something every Manitoban can be proud of. If you are already a member, we thank you.
Sincerely,
Cameron (Cam) Abrey, ECFO, CCFI-C
